“A COMMUNITY TOWN HALL IS SCHEDULED to discuss a revision to one or more of OVA’s bylaws. The primary concern for many Oakmonters is about the proposed change to Article XI.
The current bylaw stipulates that an affirmative vote of a majority of the owners is needed to change bylaws. The OVA BOD is proposing to change that number of voters needed to a minimum “quorum” of 25% of the ownership (801) and only 50% affirmative votes of that quorum (401) would be needed to approve bylaw amendments.
That would mean that only 12.5% of the Oakmont owners could vote to change the future of the community. That is an unconscionable proposal to consider.” ~ John MacInnis

I’m Very concerned about blocking people from participating whom
they are thinking will disagree with the change. This is a take over. What can we really do?
