Oakmont Alliance (OA) will hold an informational meeting on Wednesday, July 31, 2-4 pm, at the East Rec.

According to OA’s new release, the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed plan to raise OVA dues by 30.7% for the purpose of financing and future maintenance of the Oakmont Golf Club (OGC) property, including 2 golf courses, the Quail Inn and other OGC assets. This meeting will be Oakmont Alliance’s first campaign event focusing on the reasons for voting AGAINST the plan put forward by the OVA Board

Oakmont Alliance representatives will be present their viewpoint and available to answer questions from the audience stating,… “This would be a great opportunity for the still undecided voters to hear a point of view that has been absent from the OVA sponsored town hall meetings and articles published on the Oakmont News and the OVA website.”
