Delighted to see these results, and it wasn’t even close. Hopefully this will return some common sense and accountability to the board, and serve as a lesson to future aspiring board members that imperiousness, condescension, and lack of transparency are characteristics not valued by the majority of OVA members.

A small group of people got together resolute to change the board composition so our opinions will be heard. Tired of a culture of condecending, power drunk board we put a tough fight! A lesson to every community: fight for what you believe! A true justice do come true and shines!

    Bruce,
Great job. You have again shown that the OO continues to be a valuable and credible vehicle for communicating with Oakmont residents. Hopefully, we now can get on with changing OVA’s priorities to ones that make sense. Lots of very basic stuff to get done.

I look forward to the new board keeping our facilities well maintained and open, moving toward an energy efficient and water saving complex, maintaining our access to nature and a community welcoming to diverse income levels.

Thank you to all that ran for the board in this election. I think the community was ready for a change in direction but your hard work and passion is recognized.
