Friends of Trione-Annadel Annual Gala

It has been a busy year here at Friends of Trione Annadel. We funded our first large trail project, improving Lawndale Trailhead. It reduced erosion, improved safety and made the trail easier to walk or ride. We also funded several volunteer work days in Trione Annadel State Park. Both of those were done with Redwood Trails Alliance. We also transported 300 fourth graders from Santa Rosa schools to the park for a field trip. I am always amazed how many of them have never been to the park before. We also held a fun day of paddle boarding on the lake. And just a reminder that in past years, we donated equipment to the park, including mobile fire fighting equipment, helping to keep surrounding neighborhoods safe during fire season. Your past support helped fund all that work.

Below are some photos of our work. The trail is the Lawndale Trailhead project, both the finished trail head and the work in progress, with an excavator that we donated. Also, a photo of the mobile firefighting equipment we purchased of the park, one of three QTAC 85 mobile fire fighting systems, mounted on the Kubota 4×4 we also purchased and donated.
